About me!
Hi, I’m Christina, a professional trumpet player based in Northern Virginia, with a passion for photography! I studied classical trumpet and pre-law at Indiana University, where I developed my love for capturing moments behind the lens.
My photography journey began on Capitol Hill, where I had the privilege of taking headshots for summer interns by the iconic Rotunda. I was captivated by the pride and joy people felt when they saw a photo of themselves. This experience inspired me to continue honing my craft, eventually photographing hundreds of musicians and graduates at Indiana University Bloomington.
Now, I call Washington, D.C. home, and I enjoy capturing the city’s vibrant scenes—whether it's senior portraits, family sessions, or musicians in action.
While photography is a cherished passion, it’s not my full-time career. I’m an active-duty service member, serving as a full-time trumpet player for the United States Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps in Arlington, Virginia. As a native of Northern Virginia and D.C., I’m deeply connected to this area and its incredible people.
When I’m not behind the camera or playing music, I love staying active—whether it’s playing pickleball, exploring the city with friends, or hanging out with my cat, Sammy. I am also an avid musical theater fan!
